Hello Tupelo Band Students and Parents!
We are excited to announce that the Tupelo High School Band will be traveling to ATLANTA, GA this summer for the 2022 Drum Corps International Southeastern Championship!
We'll leave from Tupelo on Saturday 30 July and spend the day in Atlanta watching the top performing groups in DCI compete for the Southeastern Championship. We'll spend the night in an Atlanta-area hotel, then we'll enjoy a day at Six Flags Over Georgia before returning home late Sunday night.
The trip is open to any student currently in 8th - 11th grade band who is going to be in the 2022-23 THS Band. Current 12th grade band members may also travel with us. Parents are welcome to travel with us. Children who are not band members may travel with us ONLY if one or both of their parents are traveling with us.
Trip Cost is as follows:
Students: $395 per person (four to a room)
Chaperones: $395 (four to a room) -- $413 (three to a room) -- $448 (two to a room) -- $553 (single room)
**Deposit is paid to the band directors -- we prefer CHECKS payable to "Our Group Tour, LLC" but we will also accept cash or money orders.
